Still not satisfied with this answer!! If the correct answer is The Last Crusade instead of The Temple of Doom because it is the narrative sequel, (although, that's not even true anymore, the direct narrative sequel is now Indiana Jones and The Great Circle then the direct narrative sequel to Dr. No is actually Goldfinger , isn't it? Things just got all messed up because the movies started with the sixth book , but based off the James Bond answer alone, it seems like the blanks should be the second movie installment instead of the narrative sequels . Although, that doesn't work either, because there was no second Hitchhiker's Guide movie. Also, The Wedding was a spin-off, not a sequel, and also never a movie.

Came here to comment about The Temple of Doom, but reading this, it makes sense.

I think it's because Temple of Doom was technically a prequel. Last Crusade was the narrative sequel.

They don't have the right amount of words for the temple of doom.

This is a puzzle about sequels, or (loosely) the second entry into movie franchises. Use that fact when considering how to index the responses to each entry.

Hints on how to get the numbers for the indexing part of the puzzle?

A friend of mine introduced me to this book, and I did one of the later puzzles with them and got hooked. Though, of course, I would find a way to drastically overthink this one :)

The title of the theorem is the biggest hint.

I've got the blanks all filled in but no idea where to go from there, any hints?
