This drove me insane. I knew tap code, but every website gives you a different code. (some combine C and K, or I and J, you never know) I also thought that 'the bird man' would work and took ages to figure out what I had to do. Overall a fun puzzle where you learn a good cypher.

This drove me insane, u wanna know y? I was given a different key than the one M used, Wikipedia gave me the completely wrong key and because of that my end result was "tmvlriqhqan" for who knows how long... don't use Wikipedia.

I didn't know about tap code before today, so I spent way too long trying to find a way to turn this into Morse Code since it gets tapped out. At least I realized MAAAANANIM wasn't getting me anywhere and took a hint or two.

I got this by looking up tap cipher, but I only heard of it (and the keyword tap) from the first clue and google. Great to have a puzzle for tap cipher, but not much to puzzle out.

Yay! I feel kind of chuffed about figuring this one out without having to peek at a hint. I wasn't sure there for a while... Also, I felt sure there would have to be a key. It's a prison cell, after all! :-)

Like I was saying about the difficulty levels of these being subjective; how to do this one has not leapt out at me like the last 4.
